Divide et Pati - Divide and Suffer

Ancient romans used to say “divide et impera”, translated from latin language it’s “divide and rule”…
to be meant…  dividing the multitude is the best way to control it.

I’ve always thought, in my life, dividing meant suffering, and I still do.

Detaching is something so sad, and we would never like it, but…. Sometimes we are forced to it… because without it, the suffering, would be more and more stronger.

I’m fed up being forced to tear someone away from my heart, tired of it! It will never be a definitive scission… a cut flower will always and ever belong to mother earth, the falling rain will return to the sky, the sun is back everyday to our eyes…

I’m fed up tearing someone away from my heart…

Divide and suffer…. Ancient romans would have said… Divide et Pati…

The word “passion” comes from the Latin “passio”, in turn derived from the verb “pati”,
meaning “suffer”.

You feel things so deeply, and you expressed those feeling beautifully here. Thank you for sharing them.

I have always liked this image of yours. It is powerful.

I know that pain too of having to tear someone from my heart. there is always the ache and echo of their absence.

Thanks for your blog. I am enjoying it.
